Welcome to Footsteps Care Outreach
Enabling Living

Our service aims to help people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible ensuring that they and their family are involved in making decisions and choices about our home care service.

We provide a range of live-in and visiting care services. Our Home Care Workers provide a wide variety of services, as required, to meet the needs of individual clients.

Who can we help?
Children with learning disabilities
If you are a parent caring for a child or children with learning disabilities and need support in your role as a carer, we can provide a reliable service that helps you prepare your child for the future through to adulthood with opportunities to maximise their potential and independence.

We understand thet no one knows your child better than you. We will work with you, and your child to design an individual care support plan that provides your choice of how the needs of the child is met by our support.

We will help your child through their daily routines, from getting ready in the morning and accompanying them on their journey to school to supporting them with play, eating and homework.

We will provide more complex support with medication, challenging behaviour, safety skills, social awareness and respite care.

We will talk to you and your family and others important to you, to help decide the best way we can help you.

Our Home Care Workers can help you with everyday tasks, like getting up, washing, personal hygiene and bedtime routines. We can help with things like shopping, making a meal, laundry, cleaning, going to appointments, medication, getting out and about and attending social events.
